What if Every Ebay Seller went on a One Day Vacation?
That would be about 4 Million eBay Sellers. Just one day. Like today a Sunday. What if that Happened. How much Money would eBay Lose?
Just Wondering.

OP1 year agoGood answers. I'd like to see it happen just to see, what happens. Everything in American Business is Rote, Dull and the Same. Someone has got to break through TOS Doggerel, and take on the Little Chumps that run the backrooms of Corporate Sweathouses.
There must be Grist for the Mill.

·1 year agoEbay makes a ton off advertising. The effect would be minimal.

·1 year agoIf they lost about 3% of a month's profit... they'd raise the fees by about 3%. Have to keep the shareholders compensated.
One day of zero sales would be catastrophic, but as mentioned there are still a glut of listings that would still be there and sell.

·1 year agoThe last time eBay publicly reported Active Seller stats was in Q4 2021 and it was 17 Million at that point. While there's a decent possibility it's something less than that today, I doubt they've lost 13 Million sellers.

The existing listings would continue to sell.
