      Questions about my listing

I’m just wondering if I’m doing something wrong * I know I had my item listed higher than what it’s worth but infowars is being bought at auction so I did increase the price due to to that * I think the price is where it should be now where it’s more appealing but I’ve had over 500 viewers & I wonder what I’m doing wrong * I’ve had a handful of phony bids trying to use outside emails * I really need to sell this gold & silver infowars collection but I don’t wanna rip myself off & I just need them sold * I have a lot of coins to go through & I’m thinking about selling my international paper currency with some in a lot but it takes time to make a quality listing & list a large variety of items * I wonder when someone will buy my collection * it’s keeping me in suspense but I’m happy if some of those viewers auctually go to banned.video & check out what infowars is saying * I’d have some of my coins graded but I’m not familiar with that process or fees & I don’t know if I have anything else that would need that until I get into my collection I inherited * It’s tough selling thing’s of my parents & families * Well thank You for letting me ask that & share that with You * I hope You have a nice day!!!

      Unusual Activity in Stats

Two days ago my Site began to lose Impressions and Page Views all pertaining to Promoted Standard.  See the Images Below.     Starting with July, 20, you see my Impressions are 76,791 where I commonly gain 150,000 daily.  That was the first sign of this Malaise.  Which I spotted yesterday.  Look at PROMOTED on this date in the Image for 7/20.  It's at 67 Views pertaining to most of my 123 listings.  Usually at 7% and up, if not Maxed out at 11% etc.  So your saying well, so what.  You have 179 Page Views, big deal.  But I average about 250 and up on Page Views for well over a year.  And my IMPRESSIONS average Generally 150,000, everyday if not over 200,000 which I've gotten on certain days.  Thus, this is the beginning of my Promoted Downfall.  These are 24 Hour Statistics.  Closed For The Day.     Now let's take a look at the Stats for July, 21st.     As you can see, suddenly, and rather alarmingly I have 4 (Four)  2.1% (Down 97.6%) Promoted Page Views, yet interestingly 44.4% 4 Promoted Sales.  And 11,914 Total Impressions.  It's Tuesday morning here in Los Angeles, but yesterday when I found the Statistics for Monday I was rather shaken and disturbed to see that my Promoted was suddenly at ZERO (0)  100% DOWN.  Meaning, that me and eBay may have lost Sales, of course, which is Not a Good thing for me or my Platform eBay.   Well I got on the Horn, Yesterday, with the contact Agent by 'Chat', it's actually called that.  So I was explaining to the Secretary, that my Promoted is literally at Zero, although my 123 Promoted Listings are still Promoted.    She did inform me that I'm in good standing, that everything is fine and no issues.   She then suggested that I change some copy or add an image or two or check out the competition.  So I did say that that's not the reason for this odd drop to zero.     She then essentially gave up.  Because she is not Tech.  I simply realized that this was not important to eBay as a whole.  Not unusual if you are not creating over $100,000 dollars a year for eBay.  In commissions, I mean.  I'm not Pinehurst, in other words.  That this probably wouldn't happen to them.  So not biggie of course.   Now onto that Monday yesterday.     Here are the Stats, yesterday when I found out about my Stat Crash.  Promoted 0 100% DOWN!  Do notice that 2 sales were 'garnered' by Promoted, although Promoted didn't happen yesterday.  And do note that my usual 150,000 Impressions for 24 Hours, are at 12,551.    No problem here!   So, Later on Monday, about 3 hours later I decided to call eBay.  Which I never do.  I don't speak to others on the Phone, unless it's my Brother.     She, most telephoners are teenagers or women.  No men, of course, seemed to understand this trouble at first, but then she mentioned that I should examine a listing or two and change an image or some such.  I explained to her that I have over 3.9 Thousand Sales.  Which, of course didn't mean anything to her.  After all, I'm not Donald Trump or a movie star.   After some entreaty she did decide to write up a Ticket.  But I don't think it got there.  Because nothing seems to be changing.     It's 6:00 am, now in Los Angeles and there are the Stats today so far.  Do notice the One Sale on, of course, Promoted.  At ZERO PERCENT.   Apologies to Brett Easton Ellis, but   Who exactly is Less Than Zero, here:   Me.   or   eBay.   Clay Scott Brown 7/23/60

Handling. Post Office Kickback? Or Not Important. The .99 Cent Factor.

Recently, about a month ago, I had suddenly decided to Join another Platform.  I can't name this Platform.  As here at eBay we are not to mention other business entities.  I understand this.     At any rate, this Platform is very Nice.  And very, very, Attractive.  It's no eBay.  Let me tell you.   So I'm placing all of my Listings in.  Right now I have about 45 of 123 Listings in.  My business is known as Blacks.  I sell High End Money Clips and Keychains.  But I also sell Knives, Wallets, and Blank Bezels, Capsules and Ring Watches to name just a few Items that I have Accepted for Sale.  I do not sell what I do not Like.  I Like very few things.  In and out of Commerce.     At any rate.  So, as I was learning of the Curve of how this new Platform, to me, works I found on the Shipping Area, that there is a Handling Fee.  Which I've seen before, but I don't think here on eBay.  Looking at that though on this New Platform, I thought, "Boy, I have utilized that before on another website", but it never really was working as my sales were Nil and Nothing generally, until I began my Business with eBay.  I chose The Consortium to Begin, Blacks.    I'm not sure right now, if eBay has a Handling Fee for the shipping.  I will check that soon.  But since I'm here I decided to have a Handling Fee of .99 cents.  Meaning that my Labor when Shipping often takes One Hour to complete, thus .99 cents per package is Honest and very Necessary I have surmised.  And I put it in to this new Platform upon all my listings there.     So, thinking about this later yesterday I noticed that shipping is now over $5 from eBay's deal with USPS.  Whereby it used to be at the most $4.95, I mean in general when not too heavy and such (3 to 6 Ounces) which is most Packages.  I do believe that eBay and the Post Office, get their own Kickback when we ship with either/or.  So, .99 cents back Rolls that very unpleasant $1 that I lost with that Package Increase!   Now the question is: Will the Buyer not buy, when they see that there is a .99 cent Handling Fee.  My answer to that is that if 100,000 eBay Sellers did the .99 cents Handling Fee With Me, I believe the 'Off Tic' would not 'disturb' eBay's Bottom Line.  The Bottom Dollar, essentially.     Will the Buyer not Buy when they see that charge?  That is the Question.   Not, to be or not to be.   That, of course, is Not Much Of A Question.   Thank you.

      Important Change to Advanced Ads

Starting Feb 22, 2024, your manual Promoted Listings Advanced campaigns will have more visibility across eBay. ---- Incidental  Sales is what I was thinking this might mean.  Now instead of Category Specific Ads, eBay is sending it site wide.  Like the lady with curlers might buy a new Money Clip.  Will this mean that the Clicks will be coming in faster?  Good question.  Just make sure the Budget is what you can afford.  eBay keeps to the Budget, the same cannot be said of Google, of course.

eBay AdsWork: The Ads Work @ eBay

Interesting that eBay is pushing Advanced Ads all of a sudden.  It's like those Tennie's & Handbags, of which I don't sell either, that there is more and more.   I know Google and it's AdWorks.  Advanced Ads at Ebay is something that is Unique, I was thinking that one hopes that eBay doesn't change anything... The Algorithm ( ALGORITHM) of Advanced Ads is not Google, furthest thing from.  I'd want things to remain as they are, no tweaking to a Coder/Webmaster would be best from an eBay Employee.  He/She could ruin all that has been built.  Remember that Pepsi/Coke/KFC have ONE Recipe.  Break that, and you're done for.  After all Corporate doesn't know it's Elbow from a Hole in the Wall.

Latest Gold Prices (Mix and Match)

Gold @ $1,999.00    Remember 1999?  I do, although not consecutively.  Surprising was Gold's latest rise back to the Year 2000.  What with Palladium at $1126, Gold now has lots of lee-way.  But coming back from it's near drop to back to the 1800's was most interesting.  I thought surely back to old 1898-1835 and so forth until the usual meteoric rise to the 1900's and beyond.  It isn't as if this is the 1st time Gold has 'fluctuated' if you can call it that.  It's been over 10 years since Gold became more important than all the Metals.  Don't forget Ruthenium!  It might be Worth something someday.    Insanity = GOLD.    That is a certainty.  Nothing can go up and down like the Baby Bouncer that is Gold!   It will be **bleep** funny when Silver leaves this whole dummy.  The Whole Dummy.  Silver never leaves, never goes up, until Gold does, Vice/Versa.  Silver has no say.  But when Silver stays for a day or two at say: $30.00 dollars, What Then?     Why, Gold should drop to the price of Palladium which is Gold's Value per Ounce.     You see, **bleep** doesn't need to go right.  **bleep** can go wrong forever.     It's just funnier that way.

Are COUPONS sent to eBay Buyers?

I have about 5 Coupons created, many specific to the product bought by buyers.  Some are 9% Off.   I've sent more than 100 Coupons, about 300 in total to Individual Buyers, in the Send Coupon Link at the All Orders section @ Seller Hub Central.  So far not even One Coupon has been used.    Now I'm not surprised at all, that no one in general ever uses a Coupon, most emails go straight to the trash, of course.  Yet I began wondering if Ebay is actually sending the Coupons.  I'm not sure.  Does anyone have any evidence that Coupons actually arrive at the Customer's email?
