A stranger opened an eBay account and provided my email address. Is there any way to get ahold of a person at eBay for them to help?

·2 months agoI have never been able to clear one of my email addresses. The user used my email to create the account and then could not validate the email address (for obvious reasons). Fast forward 25 years and eBay will still not allow me to use that email.
I had the username at one time and considered doing a password recovery and closing the account but never did. Customer service was of course a waste of time, even back then.

·2 months agoI have purchased several items in the last week on eBay; however, the seller provides fake UPS tracking numbers. I get on eBay, that indicate item delivered. But in fact your item from eBay has not actually been delivered. Apparently the seller has a method to use lifetime tracking that are actually real numbers assigned to other local people for their deliver from legitimate sellers like Amazon. Somehow my eBay purchases are tracked with illegally obtained numbers. It’s a really good scam. It provides eBay with an out as the packages show delivered by ups. When you contact eBay they say your item was delivered when in reality they weren’t. So eBay does not honor there money back guarantee for items not delivered.
