I think a brand name owner pays for this service to remove listings for
pre-owned items to reduce the competition to them for selling originals.
Even though the brand is embedded in the product, they are flagging and
removing listings. Mine item sold...
That preference setting did not work for me. It says "managing who can
buy from you", but this is about you buying, not someone buying from
you. So maybe that's it. Not sure why it worked for you but not for me.
I still got the automatic payment thin...
I kept getting letters from UPS telling me to upload documents that I
had already uploaded. After going around in circles, this ebay link
finally got someone to actually look at the documents I had uploaded.

The question is valid because you don't have to accept an offer. If you
list flat shipping and it doesn't cover the shipping cost, you may not
want to accept the offer. So the zip code is needed to check to see if
you should accept the offer.
