Can vintage ivory items be sold on ebay?

I tried to list a Lot of 2; G Force 12 Gauge; 5 Round Metal Magazines and Ebay ended the auction saying it was against their policy because the magazines are considered to be for an "ASSAULT RIFLE?"Since when is a shotgun an assault weapon?
