The cashier tells me Ebay Shipping Tape is not Allowed.
That she will let it go this time but not to use it next time.
It was not the first time I had this problem.
Because of that reason I go to another Post Office.
The other Post Office no problem.
This time I told the cashier that she was wrong.
She has a very nasty attitude but that is another topic.
I am not a new seller.
So she got the manager of the Post Office.
The manager knows me but she agreed with the cashier.
I told the manager I am not here to make trouble.
Just that, you should be informed that Ebay tape is allowed.
I am sure I am not the only seller around my area that have to deal
with being told not in a nice way that Ebay shipping tape is not allowed.
I was told it is because it is advertising Ebay on the tape.
Manager is a really nice person I do not have any problems with her.
Just how can I prove that Ebay shipping tape is allowed?

Ebay is gonna step in and clear the matter.
I was able to send them all the information and details.
Now just gonna wait for the response.
I will update everybody here.
Thank you! Everybody for the help.

I find it highly improbable that eBay will be doing anything about this matter.

Come on - let’s keep things in perspective.
actually, this PO is doing sellers a favor - eBay branded tape is junk. It looks bad, to boot.

First, a carrier is 100% in control of it's own shipping standards. You have zero say in that. They could require address labels on all 6 sides & you would have to comply.
Second, as others have mentioned, it all depends on the service. There are very strict & those rules are in place for all to read & understand (see First).
Lastly, I have a sixpack of ebay tape for you if you want more...

I understand a carrier setting their own standards, but I don't view each individual post office as a separate carrier that's entitled to set their own rules.
I'd gladly accept your tape if you wish to send it to me, but of course the OP has first dibs.😊
