Did you know that when eBay manages payments you can use your processing, available, and on hold funds to purchase shipping labels for the items you sell? If your pending payouts aren’t sufficient to cover the full cost of the label(s), eBay will charge the remaining balance to your on-file payment method such as a credit card or linked bank account.

So you can now seamlessly purchase USPS, UPS, and FedEx labels on eBay without having to worry about whether your earnings will cover the balance. More information about purchasing and using shipping labels is available in the Help Hub.

To purchase labels with your funds and linked credit/debit card or bank account, you just need to choose Pending payouts under the Select how to pay section in eBay Labels prompt, as shown in the screen below.  You may continue to pay for labels with PayPal as well.

If you're a seller who ships frequently, consider setting your payout schedule to weekly to get the most of this feature. Selecting a weekly payout schedule means easier reconciliation and fewer charges to your connected bank account or credit card.

eBay does not earn interest on pending payments, payments scheduled for payout, or payments that are in the process of getting paid out.

As always, thank you for selling on eBay,
