Unable to View Bidder's Feedback History

 Today I got an offer on a buy it now or best offer item, and when I tried to  view the bidder's feedback history, ebay would not let me.  Has anyone else had this problem or know what is going on?

No, not when a buyer makes their feedback private.

Yes, the buyer has chosen to have their feedback private.

Many sellers are uneasy and block when a buyer has their feedback set to private.

And many sellers recognize good buyers may use a private feedback account so

no one can see what they're buying.

Like Christmas gifts.. or adult diapers or other sensitive, personal items.

No one can see what anyone is  buying anyway.   Private feedback is not necessary for hiding your purchases.

I can easily see, by feedback,

exactly what posters on this thread have bought.

Since I first posted, I have realized that I am unable to view feedback for any bidder, including those who have public feedback. The only time I can see feedback is when they have already purchased an item from me.

I'm only running one auction right now, and it only has one bidder, but I can see the bidder's feedback left and received.

Possible buyers.

Bidders are people who participate in auctions.
