Need help with camera photos. Can't figure out how to get them to laptop for adding to eBay listings.

You could always email them to yourself and open from there. Good luck.

You can send them to a cloud account from your cell phone and download them onto the laptop.

Just to add, you also can use a free app like MyPhoneExplorer.

I only know iphone + windows.
1. Connect your iphone to your laptop via a USB cable. On the iphone you should be asked if you want to allow access to pics. Allow.
2. On your laptop use File Explorer. On the left panel you should see the iphone as a option. Choose it.
3. Click on Internal Storage, then click on DCIM. You should see one or a bunch of numbered folders (year & month). Try the last one.
4. Choose the pics you want to transfer. You can either Cut & Paste or Copy.
5. I always use cut & paste. After highlighting, within File Explorer go to the folder on your laptop where you want to move the pics. Choose Paste from the dropdown options. Voila!
6. Sometimes, if you have just taken the pics, they do not show up in File Explorer. Be patient and try later.
Good luck.

I have a Windows PC with Your Phone Link app installed. I take all my photos with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and both are linked through my WiFi system. It is a godsend to have Your Phone Link because I can open it and all my photos are there. I just pull up my photo and press Save As, open the folder on the PC that I want it to go to and hit Save. Then, when I am setting up a listing, I pull up the photos from the PC folder, and it is done.
I used to use my Windows laptop with the same results, but neck and shoulder pain drove me to a PC all-in-one so I wasn't hunched over my laptop anymore.

Android phones are easy. Just connect your phone to your laptop using a USB Cable and sign into your phone if it is locked. You should see your phone in file explorer and be able to browse it like any other folder (drive).
Pictures are probably in the phones "DCIM" folder. I usually sort by date to bring the recent photos to the top of the file browser. Copy and Paste (or) Drag and Drop. You can also "move" the pictures, so they don't stay on your phone.
iPhones are another story. See other posters help.

There's different ways to transfer photos, depending on the phone you have.
I bought a Bluetooth device for my PC and Bluetooth all my photos from my phone to PC.

I have a Samsung android phone and it is linked to my PC. I am able to just copy them directly to a folder I have set up for eBay auction photos. Very easy to do. No app needed.

The easiest way (and usually faster) is to send them to the cloud, and then move them to your computer.
If your only taking a very few photos email works good also.

In your listing form, select Add Photos.
Browse to find the photos you want (maximum 7MB each).
Crop, rotate, and adjust the brightness and contrast of the photo using the icons in the uploader preview, then select Save.

@sandyscottage "Camera photos"?
Do you mean you take the photos with a (digital) camera, or do you mean you take photos with the camera on a smart phone?

Easy Peasy takes 1 second
Take all my pix with my iPhone 📱
Then airdrop to my iPad…
Of course, you need Apple products…

If you are using an Apple iPhone you can go to your iCloud account using a browser on your laptop and download your photos from there.
