It was a hot summer full of exams on my first year in university... 😺

I was curious what is this "ebay" thing and many shopping trips later, here we are
I started selling as a hobby 4 years ago and loving that too

I started 17 years ago on ebay part time selling older stamps on here. In 2012 made it into full time business. I still remember the days before PayPal on ebay. Congrats on 10 years grab a pizza.

When I started  I bought a new camera for ebay. It was a Sony that accepted the 3 1/2" Floppy disk!

Stared in 2005 selling stuff i got from thrift and junk stores. It was after my near fatal car accident and doctors would not sign me off to back to work.

I started in 2004......life changes created a "hole"........too much time on my hands......  A friend suggested I try ebay.....  I bought the Ebay's for Dummies book.  Had never bought anything on ebay and didn't know a thing about it.  Was a yr before I bought anything, but started with a few listings. (took 4 hrs to do the first listing and almost that long to figure out how to ship something in a Tyvek envelop....lol.)  By then end of the year (3 months) had sold about $400 worth.  Back then, you had to sell so many auctions before you could sell fixed price......So finally achieved that.  Major goal was to pay a housekeeper to come in once wk and do the stuff I hated doing......floors/bathrooms, etc.  Achieved that.  Talked the accountant that next yr and we set up books, etc.  and I was off and running.  Been a fun ride.

We started in Feb 2004 - 17 years ago.  2 years later, we added the river.
