I appreciate the help.
show me where in ebay policies it says that?
A listing must offer either a physical item, which includes digitally delivered goods, or a service for sale. Want ads, place holders, or offers to trade are not allowed.

Joke no. Breaking eBay rules, yes. There is a report button on every listing.

Looks like a scam. "Seller" is trying to get people who have old phones they want to get rid of to contact him and he'll make an off eBay offer to buy them.
You should report the listing as violation of eBay policies.

Oops apparently you don't understand.
I BUY phones and this is MY listing.
People just message me the link of there eBay item (I do NOT do business outside of eBay on eBay)
And I buy them if they are the right fit.
I am taking the listing down right away because I did not know it was against eBay policies. ๐ถ

The OP is the SELLER on that listing: "I sell phones on one of my accounts and I had/have this listed..."
The listing says, "Please message us if you are interested..." so yes it's a violation but I don't think the OP is going to report it.

This is how some sellers avoid paying fees and taxes. @casuallyattractive, You should report this person. It's people like these sellers that give good sellers like yourself a bad rap. Do it! Thanks for sharing.

I am not even sure you read it.
@nobody*s_perfect has it right.
Please see my other reply.
Also I do NOT EVER try to avoid ebay fees.
I am a honest seller making a honest living.
and I pay the fees like a normal person.

The seller is OP, so he can`t report himself to ebay ๐

Is this post just to get a rise out of people?
Why are you laughing at someone who thought you were a legitimate seller. That reminds me of a bully, setting someone up for a fall, and laugh when they're down.
Listing in the category you chose and the item specifics you provided, you were building up trust with potential customers.

You know you can add "contact me if you have any questions?" in your listing? Just be careful. If you sold it, that's great, but be careful with posting messages in your photos because in the past people DO do this to avoid fees and taxes and have been reprimanded for this type of listing behavior. Looks like your shop is doing great. Don't jeopardize it.

Thank you.
I do not post things in my listing photos (:
I do know some people that have and i have reported them myself.
I am not a fan of eBay fees but I still pay them.
Also I messaged the person and they said they knew it was a joke.
They had bought it to be dumb as it was only 99 cents
I still refunded them there 99 cents and its all good.

Okie dokie. Starting to get nice again, hopefully your sales are doing great.

I'm guessing you will receive a defect on your account for this.

You do understand that the listing itself was a violation?

No,
It was just a simple refund.
That is all.
