Not sure it's the case here but if you're making a new listing with the sell similar option the choices offered usually become defaults and you have to change them.

You are not alone!

Noticed this happening over the weekend. When I was editing some titles, once I hit revise, it went back to old title. Not sure why as this has never been an issue.

All I would do is revise title again and the second time, it stayed how I wanted it to. A bit frustrating to have to redo these listings twice, but sometimes that’s just eBay.
