Having an eBay store is really paying off!

Selling on eBay certainly is...………..what??!   In the last 9 days, I've sold $11.65 on here.  On FB - $165  On Kijiji - $40.  What a joke!   Good luck to all.    🙂

I do very much hope that you find the right strategy that spurs some sales. I just think you might need to keep an open mind and maybe try something different. I mean, you are here posting a lot about no sales; maybe more than you realize. I don't know. I guess just best of luck to you

It's true, now that you mention it I've seen this same person posting on this board for years about slow sales and yet arguing with everyone who offers any advice. I thought this whole thing sounded familiar.

Re: Having an eBay store is really paying off!

These prices are for OTHER Leafs pennants.  Not the rarer 1 that I have.  Did you see how a Leafs pennant sold for $60??  Or the one that sold with best offer scratched out at $40?  Mine is on for $40 or BO & includes a firm plastic sleeve to protect it in.  Different pennants have different values; just like many many other collectibles.

The sold for $60 - are you talking about the $99 one that sold for BO?   It's not like yours and it's older.

If yours is "rarer", then say so in the title.  (No, don't use "rarer;"  why is it rare? <-- use those words).

You have no description, either.  You have to tell people what you have.

I will repeat what others have said; retake the photos of those rings.  Putting anything on the desk in front of your keyboard and then saying, "hey, buyer can enlarge the photo" is not good.

Light bulb moment:  You think buyers should be browsing in your store ?  You've got to catch the buyer's attention in search results, and that's with price, title and photo standing out in a long list of the same.

Re: Having an eBay store is really paying off!

From what I see, only 1 is the same as I have & the condition is not really as good.  The engine & 2 cars need to be restored.  Mine are in excellent shape.   🙂

Re: Having an eBay store is really paying off!

ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.

It is for the Cheapsters and people who want something for nothing.  Honest lowest price plus good service is not enough, they want if for less than cost of product, shipping and ebay fees......Then get **bleep**Y about it when you dont give into their extortion demands.  Had one guy offer crazy last week.  I denined then he bought at full price and did not pay.......I mean like ?????? That was smart.

Not much moving these days on Ebay.

Ebay Decided to not show his products in searches I am sure......the way mine works.  Nothing until time to pay the bill then I start selling 10 things a day until just enough.

Re: Having an eBay store is really paying off!

It was from the 70s & had a Bernie Parent cartoon character on it - Leafs.  $60 B.I.N.  Again - not looking for 'advice' and if someone wants to point out they think my prices are high, give examples that MATCH my items - not similar.  Similar means nothing.
