Has anyone seen this message in tracking?

ALERT MID USER NEEDS TO BE REGISTERED

The item is in Portland now...USPS.  What could this possibly mean?

I also want to add that the mail flow has slowed to a crawl.  Florida has become a huge black hole, 4 days to get to the next place.  I had a Priority item take 10 days to get to me.  Calif to Oregon is still fast but anything from the East Coast seems to hit the dead zone.

Where are you seeing this message?  Is it in the USPS tracking history?  On eBay?

That's a wonderful jumble of acronyms. Next time a customer asks me where their package is, I will be using this. Thank you.

USPS Acronyms / Abbreviations

EFN = Electronic File Number
PTR = Product Tracking & Reporting
MID = Mailer Identifier
PIC = Package Identification Code

Yes, it's on eBay in the tracking.  And as of today it is now in Reno.  I don't understand why...I am 2 hours from Portland!

I did not realize that this parcel was  intended for you as opposed to one that you sent.  If you go to USPS.com is the information different, or is it the same acronym nonsense?   Where did the parcel originate?

So if the MID is the mailer identifier and pertains to the seller?  This seller has sold 2.2 million items here and has over 100K active listings right now.  I am at a loss here.  I need these items.  They should have been delivered a week ago.
