Two or three months ago I created my first listing in over 10 years. Today I am working on my second, and everything looks totally different than what I remember from the prior one. One thing I can't find is somewhere to insert a handling fee. Did Ebay do away with that?

You can add a handling fee if you are using calculated shipping.

What is a handling fee anyway? A fee a seller charges for them to do their job?

You honestly don't need a handling fee anymore. As long as you don't "share the discount" with your customers you end up with a large cushion on basically every single order. I often get paid twice what it costs me to ship the item.

The employees who ship the items aren't free, nor is the shipping material. These costs must be recouped by a real business.

You can still set a Handling Fee & there are many uses for it.

I'm not seeing anywhere to add a handling fee on the listing form unless I'm looking in the wrong place

Hi @allthingsmoody . Not sure if you have to switch from the quick listing tool to the business listing tool all the way on the top right of the page or not.
But on the biz listing tool, this is how you find handling fee:

Well...I don't know how, but I stumbled on the box to insert the handling fee. I had saved the listing as a draft while I was getting answers to a few questions and just now when I opened the draft it was there lol. I swear I didn't see it before even though I looked multiple times. Oh well, all's well that ends well. Thanks everyone for your input.

Sorry, I don't use eBay to list, so I wasn't sure exactly where on eBay's screen. So glad @wastingtime101 was able to provide a screen shot 🙂
