Many sellers probably remember this 50% off fvf promo that initially didn't work, but thankfully was fixed and able to be activated.
As of now, even on $50+ listings created right after activating the promo, my seller account fees show full amount. Now, the fine print does state,
" The final value fees credit will appear on the seller’s invoice within 60 days after the Promotion ends. "
but that raises some questions, especially since that means you're potentially charged the full final fees for the first billing cycle (even for those promotional listings). For example, what the hell do those credits go towards if you barely sell anything outside of those 5 promotional items? You'll already have paid the final value fees. Do the 50% credits just sit there and wait, subtracting from future sales? Because they sure aren't sending you any paypal credits, so it's rather confusing when you really think about how this promo will actually work.
Also states "The seller will receive a credit worth 50% of the final value fees, for the first five items sold for $50 or more that were listed during the promotion. The credit will appear within 60 days after the Promotion ends, if not sooner." Does it need to be exactly five items, or is it up to five items?
