The option would be VERY unusual indeed. No other site that has their own money processing program allows the sellers to pick either. Amazon, Etsy, Mercari, Poshmark, Offerup, etc.
May I ask why it bothers you to give the info to Ebay when you gave it to PP? What is the distinction for you? I ask because I'm curious, I'm not picking on you in any way. YOu have every right to decide what is best for you.
youre missing the point...he has to deposit money from his bank account that ebay is linked to into his paypall account in order to pay for shipping. stupid **bleep** way to do things.
NO they don't. That is a CHOICE. Sellers in MP can choose right on the label creation screen to have the cost funded by MP or PP, seller choice. Best to learn the rules before judging others.
plus ebay is just squeezing us all into the electronic funnel so we can be shut down with one click when we dont comply with their stupid rules.
There is no evidence of that and is just a conspiracy theory with nothing to support it.
Im sick of it. it gets worse and worse every year. nobody needs ebay managing their money. ebay did not do this for sellers or buyers, they did it for their own power trip. stupid fees keep going up and NEVER down.
Fees in MP did not go up for most sellers. They are neutral or slightly less. For some sellers that were using PP's micro deposit program, they were the ones that are experiencing fee increases.
To better understand this you need to understand the structure in which the MP simplified fee is applied.
I wish some super hacker would come along and steal all of ebays traffic and start a new FAIR ecommerce selling alternative.
And bankrupt millions of sellers in one swoop. That's what we need now with the economy the way it is for far too many people that are struggling to put food on the table.
With a better understanding of the facts, you may see things a bit differently or you may not. But it is better knowing the facts than assumptions.

Good grief. Every similar site to Ebay has their own money processing program, scramble emails and all that other stuff. There is a big world out there. You should take a peek at some of the other sites similar to Ebay. Etsy, Amazon, Mercari, Poshmark, etc. Ebay was the last to have their own money processing program. We were just spoiled and it is hard to stitch from PP to MP.

We are all here to make a profit therefore from what you have said then we all "greed driven"!
