Pottery - MCM Free Form plate bowl

Hello -I posted this on the collectibles board - I actually couldn't find the potter board. It's been a while. Anyway,  I was hoping someone could help me with this plate/bowl. Someone replied that it may be a bowl due to the little 'feet' on the bottom. It has the initials RFG on it. Any thoughts on age, maker, etc?

the way the initials are written suggest  hobbyist work.

I just saw one Monday at Goodwill. Hand painted in Italy
