Help to Identify This Odd Shaped Glass

This is 6 3/8" tall, oddly cut, very rough but smoothly finished. It is very heavy. Any ideas ? Thanks !

Vase from Europe likely Germany if memory is right.  There were a lot of these in clear a few years back.
