Issue with photos in landcape mode

Since last update, within app, when tapping on photos for fullscreen view there is now a ‘See description’ button. Fine except when I rotate phone to view photo in landscape mode, said button takes up so much space that the photos are actually smaller than in portrait mode. Very unhelpful. I’d like to see this new button removed.

I have a similar problem on the latest Android app where the bottom tool bar links appear in landscape mode and obscure the bottom 1/4 of the image - the links bat cannot be hidden.
