Could these be military? The person that had them served in Pearl harbor in WW2. They are Wilt cases. I may be way off. But wondering. Thanks.

How do you know that the person who had them served in Pearl harbor? Is there any time line to their history or just hearsay?

I bought them from a friend that lost his wife. They are his wife's, fathers cases. He tells great stories about his father in law & his service. He felt they may be military. But was unsure.

They aren't the initials of the original owner. So that's what is confusing me.

We don't know if he was the original owner . The alphanumerics do not scream military to me, but they do have the characteristics of an era. I don't know if they were typical of the 1920's, 30's or 40's....it's a clue that can help. I want to say 1930's but cannot stand by that date.
