I inherited and would like to sell my 14K gold American Gypsy jewelry. I have 2 cuffs, a necklace and earrings. I'm afraid to sell on eBay and wondering if the guarantee seal that Ebay offers makes it safer to sell? How do you get the guarantee service so I can assure the buyer that this jewelry is the real deal? Any suggestions on what to do here would be greatly appreciated!

There really is NO seller guarantee; there is a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee for Buyers only.
A buyer can
a.) do a chargeback months later with their bank stating 'don't recognize' etc.
b.) open a return for not as described and ship you back a rock, forcing you to pay shipping and then 'force' the refund.

If the item qualifies, Ebay will automatically add the Authenticity Guarantee to the listing.
Since it's been awhile since you sold anything, they can hold your funds for 30 days.

Just an FYI for pricing...100% of melt/scrap price for 14K is about $37.50 per gram today. An honest buyer will pay 85 - 95% of this price.
