Re: Proposed USPS Increase

And this is why I buy most of my gifts in thrift stores, estate sales, tag sales etc.  The ones that I don't make from stuff found at tag sales, estate sales etc.(LOL)   I use two of those coupon sites that pay you for buying stuff you were going to get anyway.  One pays out via Paypal and the USPS.com takes it ... so the coupon guys pay my postage.

Sorry USPS, you will NOT joy-suck me at Christmas!

Re: Proposed USPS Increase

The lousy service certainly doesn't justify the price increases.

I'm not a hoarder! There's a price tag on everything!

Re: Proposed USPS Increase

I agree, but it looks like USPS — like everyone else — is having trouble attracting / retaining employees  😕

Re: Proposed USPS Increase

I think they could keep their cost under control if they would have a more efficient routing system.

I was expecting 3 packages, a RX from PA, 2 auctions lots one from TX & one from NJ coming to me in CT.

Normally our mail gets routed thru MA then to us.

Well all 3 packages started as they normally do, then "disappeared" before they got to MA & ended up in Puerta Rico!!!

Then back up to various stops in the states, finally to MA then to me in CT!

Re: Proposed USPS Increase

Ouch !

The one that sticks out to me because I use it a lot is seventy five cents on flat rate envelopes.  Definitely hiking up my postage too.   Need to commit 10/3 to my memory.

Re: Proposed USPS Increase

The lovely thing about ONLY selling jewelry is that with rare exceptions, everything goes 1st class, which doesn't seem to have changed. I don't sell here, anymore, only on the other place, but they are getting just as bad with their demands on sellers.
