Help needed with Pandora Ring

I picked up a Rose Gold Plated Hearts Circle Ring last Tuesday.

I didn't know what it was when I found it in the junk rings tray.

While researching I found the ring on a Pandora(?) Site but not sure if it is legit as it was a .net Site.

Anyway, cannot find out what the plating is over or what the Star Mark means.

Hallmark is:

*  ALE R 52

* = ?

ALE = Maker's Mark

R = Rose Gold plating mark

52 = Ring Size

No "S 925" marking , OCN?

The Star is where I expected to see the S925 Mark.

The marks are on the outside of the ring which is why I didn't know it was Pandora.

Went looking and found its friends on the Pandora website. The gold-colored ones are gold-plated, so no sterling marking.   Currently $45 from Pandora themselves.

I have found two other ALE Pandora S925 ball shank rings. Both were marked inside so I knew they were silver. At the time I bought the first ring I had no clue what ALE was.

dream, is it possible to see the setting on the ring you posted. It looks similar to an unsigned ring I have.

Found out what the star is on the Pandora Ring. It is a Factory Mark.
