Flapper Cameo

Good morning everyone,

 

Need your guidance on this brooch.  Is this enamel, hand painted, Cloisonné? I'm ruling out Cloisonné, but I've been wrong before

The best I can explain it is think of a  picture transfer printed on a t shirt 

maybe someone else can explain it better 

By the way nice cameo love the colors

The best way to identify a printed item, is by magnifying the item, or taking a very clear photograph and enlarging it. (Your pictures are great, by the way.)

 

Look for signs that the color is produced by very tiny dots. That means that the item has been reproduced by photolithography, which is how most commercial printing is done. You can see the tiny dots in the eyes, lashes and brows:
