Any info on 18" necklace....bead material, age, origin

Your necklace looks like it could be stabilized and dyed (sponge) Coral. Maybe vintage c1970s because of the type of clasp but that is just a guess.

That's what I was thinking. It looks like some sort of dyed coral with that plastic coating.  Sponge coral tends to be pretty rough.  The clasp is straight 70s into the 80s.
