Is this Macbeth-Evans Monax Glass or something else?

I just picked these up today thinking I had found some Monax or Cremax glass from Macbeth-Evans. It has the same look and feel as monax but I cannot seem to find reference to it anywhere. I checked replacements, and googled whatever I could think of....

What IS this?

Heavy crystal, a somewhat familiar pattern. Too big to be a candy dish (or so it seems to me), too fancy for a canister, too small to he an ice bucket. About 7" to the top of the knob, 4 1/2" in diameter. I'm feeling kind of dumb about it.
