Please help identify clear glasss bowl with gemstone pattern border

this appears to be clear glass "gems" added to a slightly greenish older bowl. pictures of the underside where they seem to be attached would help.

Thank you so much for this is clear glass and no green at all, could be the lighting making it appear green.

Perhaps a little more info on the bowl would help. 

So I'll ask a few questions and maybe someone more knowledgable can help.

The gemstone ring appears to be fused to the bowl at the very edge of the rim,

does it look like glue or fused with glass? Or am I mistaken about it being fused.

Also are the gemstones glass or perhaps acrylic/lucite?

the edge is applied.it might be original to the making of the bowl or later. the touch and feel of glass is important, so cannot guess further.

the gemstone and bead rim is fused to the bowl like they were made at the some time and not an add on.  It is all glass beads and all.

it was and still is popular to take glass craft "gems" and "beads", and add them to all kinds of glass items.the hint here is that the top of the bowl rim is visible and finished/polished, and the bowl has the shape of a mixing bowl. diameter and height would help determine the bowl's original use. a stained glass or art glass person might be able to tell you more about the use of gems/beads. it is nicely done.
