Hi! I purchased this in a second-hand store for $1...just because I thought it interesting. I've no idea what it actually is, when it was made, or by whom, and neither did any of the shop workers. It measures approximately 8.75" long by 3.75" across by 1.75" high and is weirdly divided into 4 parts, as may be seen in the photos. There are no markings. It is also quite heavy at 1 lb., 9.4 ounces. It's been suggested that it may be a cracker (biscuit) dish or tray, which seems plausible enough, but the way it is divided is just strange. If anyone here has any information on it, I would be most grateful!

I found one on Etsy that is complete. Yours is missing the lid and ashtrays that would fit into the round slots. I copied the link, the item isn't available but the picture is at the top.
