Agree. 

The bands around the top aren't right for old glass either.

from the seams on the foot it looks like this was made in 4 pieces... granted, i don't do much with glass, but i've never seen that before... was it "normal" to do that, or would that be an indication of recent/contemporary?

The 4 piece bottom isn't unheard of, but there is no definition in the urn and garland, looks like the molds were made from existing pieces. None of the elements really go together. The rounded lip is not typical of vintage American glass, and the top bands look more like contemporary Mexican or Italian pieces. The satin finish is not quite right either.

Thank you for your input. I think I'm being pointed in the right direction that this is a reproduction piece. Still very pretty through.
