Can anyone give me any info on this stove. I think it is for coal burning. found similar "pot belly" stoves. Where was it used in the house. Looks like cooking. Top is 9" X 11". Height is 17". base is 13" X 16". No name on stove

A good resource i use is the cast iron collector. There is a resource page and you can contact them.

I think it's for outdoor camping.

I see this type of stove in hotel rooms in shows like "Gunsmoke", "Tales of Wells Fargo", "The Rifleman". So like from the 1800's, maybe.

Needs legs.

A wood stove used to heat (not cook on) a hotel room looks just like this one pictured here.
Unless I'm seeing things, this one does have legs sitting on the ash catcher.

If my memory serves me well, it is a wood burning heating stove, in need of restoration.
