Vintage metal don quixote conquistador photo holder ? Cigar holder maybe

I have found 2 resources one is stating that it is a solid photo holder and another stating that it is a bronze book or notebook.

The price difference in their thought process is $295 if its the photo holder or 7 bucks if its the book holder.
