This one is driving me a bit crazy 😖 Bump bump.
I've seen this artist's work and cant remember it, or even whether it's modern in a vintage style. I keep thinking in the style of Beverly Cleary and Jessie Wilcox Smith's 'Little Mother Goose' with all the insects sprinkled about.

Thanks Rita for your thoughts. I tried to no avail in my research using the suggested name.
@mendocinosocialclub I feel the same.... It's driving me nuts striving to decipher the signature as the work itself appears very well done as if I've come across it before.

The Little Rascals comes to mind - the boy standing up looks like Alfalfa and the boy sitting looks like Spanky. The girl standing behind "Spanky" looks like Lil Orphan Annie - who was not one of the Little Rascals though.

Wouldn't Alfalfa have the trademark hair spike?

There are a couple of items in the Philly newspaper early 1970's about her exhibit. She may have been a student. Probably "Feather" was not her actual given name, but a guess on my part.
