Help to Identify 2 smoking pipes that have not been used

My husband has two pipes that he bought but never smoked - just "chewed" on them.  One is marked Italy and the other American 6-92/MT.  The second I think is the American Smoking Pipe Co. but not sure.  Does anyone recognize these two pipes as to maker and the type of wood?  Any help would be so appreciated!!!pi1a.jpgpi3a.jpgpi4a.jpgpa1a.jpgpa3a.jpgpa4a.jpg

Hi, Yes, you have the right maker for the American: https://pipedia.org/wiki/American_Smoking_Pipe_Co.

Those are made of briar. There are a LOT of Italian makers so many possibilities if there are no other markings on that one. Cheers, Michael

Michael - thank you so much for letting me know and that they are briar (I did not know that).  I couldn't find any other markings on the other pipe marked Italy.  I appreciate your help so much!!!!  Mary
