This looks like student work. There is a type of print, not sure that it fits into the "mono" print category, where 3d elements are assembled (assemblage). String or yarn is glued down in patterns, pieces of fabric with a distinct weave, like burlap, pieces of foamcore might be carved like a lino cut, or even individual scarps of lino cut employed, as well as any bit or bob that would take ink in a pattern, like a flower shaped button. These pieces may be assembled on the printing bed, or glued to a backing like posterboard. the pieces are inked, and because of the distinct shapes, like the edges of a flat etching plate, they leave an embossed edge around each piece. This is one of many printing exercises that a professor might give to validate the high cost of a collage education in the arts.
