Chinese souvenir badges , need help please

I’ve found this set in a small consignment store. I can’t find any info about . Looks like are made in silver, coming in a nice large wooden display box. Need help please.

I found a website that allows you to draw the Chinese characters with a mouse, but getting a correct answer depends on knowing the exact sequence of strokes in the character. The only one I could decipher with any reasonable relevance to this set was the larger 2nd character from the left in the middle of the box which gave: record, annal, historical.
