Won't let me bid

Today when I went to bid on an item, a pop-up menu came up and asked me to select a shipping address and a payment method.  I was able to do the address, but when I clicked on payment method nothing happened.  I tried another browser, but same thing.  Help, please.  Thanks.

What browsers have you tried? Latest versions? Try another. Try disabling add-ons.

Or try bidding using the eBay app.

Or try bidding on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.

Can't offer a solution, but I'm dealing with the same situation.

Very frustrating as I already lost an auction for an item I was interested in.

I use Firefox...but tried with Edge and Chrome with the same results.

Ebay's auto-pay has been causing some sellers lost sales & also appears to be creating more than a few unhappy buyers.

Hopefully at some future & not too distant date, ebay may prioritize addressing auto pay issues realizing that happy buyers are good for business.

Hmm, as of today this particular problem seems to have resolved itself - I've made no changes to any of my ebay settings or added any additional payment options, but now can bid on items without getting the non responsive payment/address pop-up. Hope it's the same for the OP.
