Option to disable auto-translate on website

Please, for the umpteenth time: let users decide whether they want ebay contents translated for them. As numerous users have pointed out, AI translations of product names are nonsensical and make it harder for seller and buyer to find each other.

@sbergenheim

You've posted this on a member-to-member forum. No one here has the ability to change eBay policy, no matter how many times you've made the request.

Oh **bleep**, I didn’t realise! I’ve been scouring so many forums and threads in search of a solution that I must’ve taken a wrong turn at some point. Thanks for pointing it out!

I search often for foreign items and use specific terms. Drives me nuts to see , as you say, nonsensical translations. E.g. a French book term "planche"  translates into a technical term "plate". So a book with 100 planches should be translated as ... with 100 plates. The translation I get..a book with "100 boards". Stop the AI nonsense.
