What happened to regional flat rate priority mail?

Can't buy a label. What's up with that?

Was it like, abducted and spirited off to Guantanamo Bay?

What happened to regional flat rate priority mail?

USPS eliminated that option as of January 23, 2023.

There have been multiple threads on these boards regarding that decision.

Any suggestion on how to use the remaining unused boxes? I hate to throw them away.

You are to use them by size & wieght.

You can still 'go' to the post office and buy Regional- but it'll cost more over the counter.

After reading the USPS site three times, and then trying it, I have to agree that "cubic" parcels are the way to go if you can't use media rate. At some point there will be croassover and parcel select or priority will beat the media rate price.

There is a cubic rate chart in the postal rate download--for parcel select and priority mail. Both are available on PayPal and Pirateship at the same cost. eBay is wonky with their look ups. Sometimes they have the same price, sometimes not.

BUT! because regional flat rate has been discontinued, you just enter the dimensions and weight, and use the cubic rate. No problem getting through the system without fines. And savings can be had.
