Shipping costs more than I sold my item for

This is my first time using eBay and my first time shipping an item that isn’t a card. I accidentally set my shipping fee to low and now I’d basically be paying to ship my product away. Is there a way to cancel the item someone bought?

@jp-334

Your only options are sell to the highest bidder as eBay expects you to OR cancel as out of stock from the drop down menu next to the sold item and do NOT relist.   If you cancel as out of stock then you receive a Defect on your account.  Just a few defects and you can be banned from eBay.

You can not ask the buyer for more shipping than stated on the listing.

If you cancel the buyer is likely to leave negative feedback that you can not have removed.

 It is a good idea to ALWAYS use calculated shipping based on the actual package size and weight when creating your listings, at least until you are familiar with shipping costs.

Shipping is more for items that are oversized.    I would suggest checking Pirateship.com to see how much their UPS price is.  The site is free to use.
