How can a seller mark an item 'paid' after he refunded the sale price?

An item I purchased never arrived. After a week the seller refunded me the sale price. Now, in my 'purchased' list, that item says it still needs to be paid. I have contacted the (unexperienced) seller and explained he needs to mark that item as 'paid' but I think he has no idea what to do (and maybe I explained it wrong?)

Seller has already left feedback for me, and contacted me asking me to do the same. I have no problem doing it but I don't want to see anything 'unpaid' in my purchased list.
