Have you ever had a package intercepted and the USPS stated you requested it when you did not?

Buyer states and confirmed that USPS says package intercepted the another line says out for delivery yesterday. No update as of today Buyer still does not have package.

@refreshingfinds   I have not heard of that happening but I do know that delivery scans are sometimes done when the item is PICKED up which causes confusion.  

It sounds like a similar error where the scanner was set to the wrong setting.

I would try a lost mail search if it doesn't show up end of day today.    Assure your buyer that you are checking on it and that they will receive their item or a refund and thank them for their patience.
