I am a seller on this platform and I'm trying to find out the negative side effects of not passing ebays authentication program.
I sell used items and try my best to make sure the items I am selling are authentic. I sold a pair of shoes on ebay that did not pass authentication. These shoes were in used condition with the original box. My cousin claims he purchased them originaly from A shopping mall. Long story short they did not pass authentication. I understand the buyer is refunded and the item gets removed from ebay. I am also prohibited from relisting the item again. I don't have the intention of selling fake items. Are there negative side effects for not passing ebays authentication. Can my account get suspended or what negative things can happen if this happens here and there? Mostly everything I sell is used. Is it best just to avoid selling those particular items if I'm not 100% certain on there authenticity. Thanks for reading.
