So, I have a bunch of new old stock parts, some automotive, some not
that have NSN (national Stock Number) part numbers that the military
uses, has anybody found a good way to identify these types of parts? I’m
not having much luck figuring out.

Yeah, that's the weird part. Those hex eccentrics fit into the holes on
the stainless brackets (the parts with the blue protective coating) and
I thought maybe the brackets would clamp over something then the
eccentrics could be turned to "cinch" it ...
