Right. Do not contact the buyer. Request a tracking from USPS and have them notify you with results per text. I just had a package got stuck for 2 weeks in a Post office and a week after requesting tracking information the package was delivered.

All you had to do was Void the 1st label and yes it can take one to a week the get it refunded from the shipping source. Print a new label with the correct weight and make a partial refund for the difference. There is no need to cancel the whole sale...
