Hi All, I am pretty sure this pin is military or from a military
academy. However I can find no info anywhere. Hopefully someone can help
provide me with some information on it. Pics are below and thanks in

Could be that the ring was made in Mexico (there are and were many
jewelry makers in Mexico). My bet is that it is a custom made ring for
someone who was in the Air Corps and enjoyed Horse Racing. Whatever the
story its quite an interesting ring.
OK, here are my thoughts. I don't think its Kennedy because they used
him already. Buchanan's father was an emigre from Ireland. Saw that on a
history web site. Also noticed that Buchanan was an envoy to Russia.
