Live, in Las Vegas: Key items to pack.
If you’re one of the lucky sellers who scored a spot at our sold-out event, there’s a lot to consider if you’re not a native to Nevada, or an Open veteran. And even if you are experienced, a reminder of what to bring is always handy. Here are a few things to consider when packing for the event.
It’s gonna be a sunshine-y day.
The heat in Las Vegas is no joke. Although you’ll be inside for part of the event, you’ll have to venture outside at some point. If you check the weather forecast, you’ll see that temperatures will hover around 100+ degrees for the duration of Open.
Remember to bring:
Also make a note of any traveling in your schedule, and plan ahead to avoid too much exposure. For instance, if you are staying at a hotel other than the MGM Grand, map out your route on your phone and check the weather at the time of your travel. If the distance is too far and the temperature is too high, consider taking a cab instead of walking. And if you know your way around Vegas, head to your destination through the cooler buildings instead of walking outside.
Write down your insights and be ready to network.
Open will not only give you the chance to learn at workshops, but you’ll be meeting new and exciting people left and right. Be sure you’re supplied with the right tools to remember your experiences and connect with your community.
