if i buy a car on ebay ,do you hold the money till all parties are satisfied?

I have someone who wants to go through ebay to sell me a car. I don't know this person from Adam, she said we will both be protected by ebay. She said you will send forms by email to fill out,and shipping will take 5-days. Also she said I will have 5-days to inspect and decide if to keep. Is all this true?

All of that is untrue. It's a SCAM!! Don't communicate with the thief again. They are out to get your money. If the car isn't listed on eBay then eBay has nothing to do with the transaction.

SCAM

You are talking to a thief. Stop communicating with the thief immediately. They are trying to steal your money. There is no car.

Ebay does not hold money while a car ships. No one ships an expensive item like a car to a total stranger, with a promise that they'll take the car back if you're not satisfied.

I'll bet they said to send the money by Western Union to an "ebay agent". There is NO ebay agent. The thief picks up the money and runs.

The way to buy a car on eBay is to win a listing, arrange to go to the location where the car is, inspect it (take it to a reliable mechanic if you're not car savvy), pay cash for it, get the CLEAR title paperwork and drive the car home.
