Has anyone purchased an item with western union?

I am trying to purchase an ATV and I have already sent half of the payment via western union. Now I have another notice from eBay and the seller that I need to send the rest before the item will arrive because some people can't finish payment after arrival. Is this normal practice or am I being ripped off?

As you only registered today I am going to guess that this is NOT an eBay transaction.

eBay specifically prohibits the use of Western Union.

If this is an eBay transaction please post the item number.

STOP!

you are dealing with a criminal.

Do not send more money !

eBay is not sending you emails.

eBay does not allow sellers to ask for Western Union cash transfer payment.

You have lost your money- unless you can get Western Union to stop the payment before the scammers picks it up.

Call Western Union right now and see if the payment can be stopped.

Otherwise there is nothing you can do to get that money back.

You do not know who the scammer is- or where they are. They would not have given you their real name or address.
