When I search eBay my internet explorer stops working. How can I fix this.

When I search eBay I receive a message that Internet Explorere has stopped working. How can I fix this problem.

In IE go to Tools and check "compatibility mode."

Download Firefox and forget the IE stuff or Google Chrome works well I have heard.

Try cleaning off your computer (cookies, cache, etc) and restarting.  Also try updating IE to the latest version.  I've heard you also have to have something like a compatability mode or something for IE - hopfully someone else will know about that.  Good luck.

I just searched the AC for internet explorer and there are several posts about the problems with IE.  Here's just one of them - hope it helps.

Also, you might try changing browsers to firefox or chrome.
